University Overview

Founded in 1966 as two Catholic teacher training colleges: Trinity College for women and All Saints College for men. They merged in 1980 to form Trinity and All Saints College (TASC). It became a university college in 2009, awarding degrees through the University of Leeds. It was granted full university title in 2012, becoming Leeds Trinity University. Despite its secular governance today, its origins in faith-based teacher training established its ethos of strong student support and pastoral care. The campus has expanded significantly since the 2000s.
