University Overview

Founded in 1905 by the merger of University College of Sheffield (founded 1897) and Sheffield Medical School (founded 1828), it received its Royal Charter in 1905. It is one of the original "red brick" civic universities. The university has a distinguished history of innovation, with six Nobel Prize winners among its alumni and staff. Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees (EMJMD)
Up to $0 full

Coverage: Contribution to Participation Costs: Covers tuition, registration, and insurance fees. Monthly Living Allowance: Approximately €1,400 per month for the entire duration of the study period (24 months max). Contribution to Travel and Installation Costs: Travel: €1,000-€3,000 per year based on the scholar's location. Installation: A one-time €1,000 fee.

Eligibility Criteria:

Must hold a first higher education degree (Bachelor's level) or be in the final year and graduate before the master's start. Students from any country in the world may apply. Must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies) in any of the Erasmus+ "Program Countries" for more than 12 months in the last 5 years (for full scholarship eligibility). Must meet the specific academic and language requirements of the chosen EMJMD program (each has its own criteria).
