University Overview

Founded in 1984 as Regent's College, it was established to provide an American-style liberal arts and business education in the UK. It initially offered degrees validated by other universities. It was granted taught degree-awarding powers in 2012 and achieved full university status in 2013, becoming Regent's University London. The university occupies the beautiful, historic premises of the former South Villa in Regent's Park, which was once the home of 19th-century artist John Nash.
