University Overview
Founded in 1894 as the Northampton Institute, it initially offered technical and vocational education. It was renamed The City University in 1966 when it received its Royal Charter. In 2022, St George's, University of London merged its medical and health sciences courses with City, significantly expanding its health faculty.
