University Overview

New Vision University was founded in 2013 by a group of Georgian entrepreneurs and educators.[citation:3] As a civic, non-profit institution, NVU was established with a unique identity and mission to expand human vision. Over its decade of operation, the university has grown to serve approximately 3,400 students with 270 faculty members. NVU has developed a strong focus on civic engagement, spiral learning, and community-driven research. It has established several subsidiary companies to enact its mission, including the New Vision University Hospital, New Vision Insurance, and a Legal Aid Center, allowing students to gain practical, real-world experience. The university has also invested in arts and cultural heritage through ventures like New Vision Films and the acquisition of Zarapkhana, Georgia's oldest jewelry company.[citation:7][citation:9]
